Step 6 - ILU Reference Database. The ILURD is the single centralised database for technical and administrative data on intermodal loading units - containers, swap bodies, and semi-trailers. The intermodal terminal has read-only query access to verify ILU specifications before operations. If the intermodal terminal is itself an ILU keeper (owner or disposer), it has a mandatory registration obligation.
