ERA Ontology, Common Interface & NAPs

Module M12 · Passenger RU journey · 6 scenario questions

Align with the ERA ontology, Common Interface and NAPs.

Assessment scope

Step 12 - ERA Ontology, Common Interface & NAPs. Passenger TEL TSI operates two mandatory data channels: the Common Interface for operational messages (train running, composition, path requests) and National Access Points (NAPs) for static/commercial data (timetable, tariff, conditions of carriage). The ERA Ontology is the semantic master layer from which the XSD schema (TD-105) is derived. Version control requires simultaneous support for current and previous metadata versions until all trading partners agree to withdraw the previous version.
